l98 heads?

aright so my car is a 2001 vx ss series 2 with a stroked 383 biger cam all forged parts

so what i was thinking of doing next was heads/throttle body/intake ext basicly the hole top end plus nos

so what i was wondering was is l98 heads a good option because i know when they port the sock ls1 heads they pritty mutch try to make them as close s they can to the l 98 heads but can they be better or will the l98 heads smoke the ls1 heads every time?

L98 dont bolt straight on to the LS1
have you looked into LS2 heads?
there not quiet as good as the L98 but better then the LS1
or a set of Higgins cnc LS1 heads
