removing vt wiper arms

i'm replacing my corroded vt wiper arms with more cleaner second hand ones, but i cant seem to be able to get the old ones off? im guessing all u need to do is just untighten the nuts that hold the arms in but they're rusted and corroded to the point where they just wont budge.. how am i supposed to get these out?

Lots of WD 40, give it plenty of time to penetrate and keep applying it. Then brute force.
