Ignition lead rubbers

Is there a way of taking the rubber ends off ignition leads? my stupid mulitmeter wont fit into it.
wanted to ask before i accidently rip something off.

nope, and don't try to remove them. They are bonded to the rubber lead.
Use a paperclip or piece of wire to extend your multimeter lead.
