vt series 2 problems...help

Hey

I have had my vt for about two weeks now and have noticed a few problems with it

Power aerial wont go fully down/up and makes clicking noise when trying
powersocket wont work at all
switch for drivers side power window wont work


any ideas on how to fix these and where to get the parts for the job

Common problem on all commos mate. Happened on my VS and VT. Same thing - won't move much and makes the clicking noise. I believe you will just have to get a new electric aerial for it, or if the motor is okay, I think you can just get the metal aerial stalk and get it fitted no worries. I don't know exactly how to replace the aerial on the VT but I know on my old VS, you had to remove the quarter panel and all. I just got a bloke to do it for me.

As for the power socket, could be a lose wire, farked fuse... don't really know for that one. Make sure you have tried two different appliances :P

Power window button could of had some sort of beverage spilt on it, so look into getting a new one. You will have to get a whole new power window button thing. But don't do this straight away, the whole power window might be rooted or a cable somewhere along the lines is stuffed. If this is the case, replacing the power window button won't do a thing. You need to check to see if there is electricity getting to the power window motor before you make any decision... easier said than done lol.
