Common Rust spots?

Hey guys identical spots of rust on each side front chasis sort of close below under the front doors ,1 side has a 2cent hole and the other side is much longer spreading is this common on VTs mine is v6 9. cheers .

My VT rusted heaps (and so did my dad's).
Rust located at chassis rails more toward centre of car (engine cradle), where there is a strong curve and air con drips water down. I sold car before it was real problem - dad fixed his car - cost heaps to replace metal.
Doors also really bad - especially drivers door but I lived next to beach in Sydney - this may have been the problem.
Fix and get rid of car when you can.
