How do i tighten my handbrake

hey was wondering how do i tighten my handbrake on my vt

Have you ever adjusted drum brakes ???

inside the car on the console side of the handbrake pull the rubber cover off/out of the way.. theres two 10mm nuts youll see.. you need two spanners to undo them (theyre locked together) then tighten so when you pull the handbrake up its hard in 4-5 clicks

remove the rear wheels find the rubber grommet in the disc and remove it locate the adjusting wheel for the handbrake shoes and adjust according .
adjusting the cable length at the handbrake adjusts the travel of the handbrake lever and not the pivot point of the handbrake shoes can also allow the handbrake to drag and over heat the shoes and rear disc's . handbrake should rise to 7-10 clicks
