Hey all,

What were the differences between the standard VT SS Series 1 and the HSV 195KW Optioned car.

Is it just a memcal, different engine cover, cams, headers and exhaust and a nice badge on the boot or was there more to it? Can a standard SS be upgraded to the HSV 195 easily by buying the chip and putting on a better exhaust system?

Searching brought up some threads from 05 so I was curious if this chip is still available. also saw one advertised on eBay. HSV HOLDEN Memcal / Chip for VT & VS Series 3 V8 195kw - eBay Mod Chips, Performance Parts, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 10-Dec-09 12:12:24 AEDST)

All I know is there is a 16KW difference, so please excuse my ignorance before hand!
