Hey guys,
Was just looking at buying a set of Series II International headlights to replace my stuffed Series I's.
They are projector headlights with the seperate High and low beam globes and an indicator, As far as i can tell Series II statesmans dont have any extra lights on the front, so where do the park lights go?

Can't answer your question, but I read that the gov't over here have banned the fitment of projector head lights in vehicles that were not originally fitted ex factory with them. Apparently is included in the banning of those who like to drive around with 'fog' lights on all the time.
I bought a set of these genuine WHII Statesman International headlights cheap from Headlight & Heater (Abbotsford in Melbourne - ph 03 9416 1788) in Feb 2009, and fitted them to my VT. It cost $514.26 for the pair plus $16 delivery to Bathurst NSW. They have the same park lamp sockets that the ordinary VT/WH ones do (see pic). They are a projector style light & identical to the V2 Monaro, except they are all chrome rather than black.
Headlight part numbers are 92116917 RH, 92116918 LH. They take H9 and H11 globes and plug straight into the VT/WH harness.
The H9 globe part number is 92095788 (i don't have the H11 part number as i didn't use them - see below). The park lamps do not need to be changed as they slot straight in as normal (i.e. you can use your existing VT/WH globes).
The only thing you need to keep in mind when fitting these WHII Stato Int or V2 Monaro headlights onto VT/WH series cars, is that the low beam lights will not function properly and can be classed as unroadworthy. This can be seen when the high beams are switched on - due to the style of lamp (pencil beam) there is no light shown on the edges of the road. The Stato Int / Monaro overcomes this by turning on the low beam lamps when the high beam lamps are switched on.
To correct this, changes need to be made to the "flash dip switch" wiring on the steering column (see attached pdf document titled "WHII Stato Int & V2 Monaro - headlight wiring mod").
Another thing you can do (although this time it's not required to make the headlights "legal" etc) is use two H9 globes rather than one H9 and one H11 globe. The H11 is nowhere near as bright as the H9. This simple mod is definitely worth it - i've done it on mine. So i've attached the text of an old thread from another forum that explains how to do this - see attached txt document titled "H9 projector lamps modification". I did a quick search on this forum but couldn't find anything, but i'm sure this has been discussed here before.

Thanks mate , extremely helpful!
As for not fitting projectors to a car that didn't have them from factory, My car was made in july 01, series 2 started in june 01.... Technically my car could be a S2 and since they are holden factory lights for my model, let them try and stop me :P
Also im planning on HID'ifying them at some point but thanks for the tips on the globes
FYI: H11 = 92095787
Thanks for the info. I currently have the "El Cheapo" non genuine Monaro style lights in my VT and they're crap!! A few months in and the black paint in both lights is pealing just below the projector lens. Rather than keep the crappy cheap ones, I think I'll go to these genuine ones.
I really love my Commodores but I'd really love a Dodge!!
