I have a VX and have just picked up a vt as a second car.
Now the VT drives well but doesnt have the same response or smoothness during take off as the VX.
Is this normal when comparing series 1 to series 2 ???????
What's your question? Are you comparing VT to VX or S1 to S2 on both?
It goes VT Series 1, VT Series 2 and so one. Then VX Series 1, VX Series 2 and so one... VX isn't series 2 of VT.

Hi,
Exactly the question I wanted to find out.
What I found out so far is that the VX has 5 kW (152 kW) more than the VT (147kW, regardless of being a S1 or 2)
(Don't want to hog the post) But does any one here know how those extra 5 kW's come about??
Cheers!
computer managment adjustments i think
I may have broken the law, but that doesn't make it wrong!
Sway bar link had a ball joint i believe on the end ?.
Steering wheel had audio buttons.
IS that about it other then bumper changes and the above post ?.

perhaps the flash chip ecu is quicker coz i know that changed between vt and vx.
also VX was fixing most of the problems with vts so of course your gonna get improvements here and there overall.

The rear garnish is like scraped, one of the best things about the vx
Have a look here Holden Commodore VX - www.drive.com.au
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't
VX also has better axles and what not.

VX Series II got the up-dated rear end with the Toe Links also, and the service intervals were extened. Trust me, you dont want to know how this was achieved...
