monaro/euro lights

hi all just sold my vk and got a 2000 vt. i wanted 2 get monaro/euro head lights and maybe tail lights and a friend of mine says ill need the monaro front bar aswell i dont think hes right is he? im pretty new 2 the vt ive only had it a week.

The tail lights will fit straight in, however the headlights are a different shape.

i've fitted genuine monaro front bumper to my vt no probs. Maybe light connections are different? I don't no.

I've sold quite a few pair of series 1 monaro headlights to VT comm owners & the feedback I've received is they fit in with a std VT bar. Essentially they are the same headlight with the exception of the internals (obviously) + some minor differences at the rear of the housing. As I'm a, (dare l say it) Ford owner I'm unable to shed anymore light on the matter, other than to suggest to keep clear of the "non genuine" type, as they are quite nasty & nothing like the, albeit (made in korea) genuine items!!!!
