Default VT Wagon 98 Does not kick Down???

    Hi Guys,
I have a VT and with the Auto it does not kick down a gear at all.
Also with the PWR button on the car will only change maximum at 3500rpm foot to the flaw???
Car is very slugish to drive and fuel economy is poor
When the car changes from 2nd to 3rd gear is changes really slow and revs freely not slipping though.
Also i have already put another auto in a week ago and still the exact same issue...
I have changes the TPS and still the same.
But when I make the TPS fault the gear changes are quicker but car does not not rev out when changing gear? Until I restart the engine and same issue's again?

If someone could please give some advice???

do you know where the car came from? could have an accelerator limiter? my odd work car has them and when you foot to the floor and it'll go like a four cylinder.

I think you mean ECU, not CPU.

Not a common problem with VT's. How long has it been since the auto has been serviced?

Has it got fluid in it?

Car was serviced last week when the 2nd auto when in it new oil and filters.
Drove the car to work today and is really slugish? would'nt even rev over 2500rpm when changing gears?
Still does not kick down into any gears
Basically I hold the gears to get it to drive normally...

    Guys problem has been fixed.
Ended up being the ECU on the car was not sending enough voltage to the TPS!
Changed the ECU from another one from the wreckers and got holden to dial it in with the BCM on the car and all good
Goes like a brand new car lolz
