how to start and reset trip metre?

hey guys,
how do you stop start and reset the trip meter on the VT commodore. i got a 98 VT sedan and im doing a 17 hr drive tomorrow. just wonna know how to do it. thanks.

get the trip metre displayed then hold up and down. should restart it. dunno about stop and go though. too advanced for VT lol..
