Default vu headlights to a vt

    hi guys

i have a vt and just brought the altezza headlights pair......the only

problem is that they are for the VU ute.......

only just now have nocticed the difference between the vt and vx front end lol

just wondering is there any way to adapte the headlights to fit? i know the obvoius is to buy a new front end but that wont happen for 6 months or so...

i guess the thing i wondering is can i file or cut some of the bumper away and it still look half way decent? at least till i get a new front end......

    cheers matt

P.S this is my first post never need to post before cause i could always find an answer on here

I've never seen it done before (modding the bar that is). Anything is possibly, but i highly doubt it would look any good.

What colour is the car? if its a common colour, just lookout for a bumper in the same colour from a VU or VX.

Are they the tear drop lights ?. IF not you will still have issues with them. I believe they are straight cut on the inside of the lights next to the grill. It's why i couldn't fit VZ monaro headlight to my car.

    What other lights are there?

I thought there was only tear drop for VU and VX base models, and the sharper pointed ones on Berlina and Calais.

Your right about the tear drop lights, they are basically the same as the VT but with tear drop. Two style Monaro lights, Clear and Black are the only others i can think of.

Calais VX 2 had the best Holden Head-lights.
