VT 5lt - advice on mods

hey guys
i searched 4 stuff but cant find it
ive got a vt ss 98 model 5 lt......and its a bit sluggish
just wanted to get some ideas on some mods that i could do.......its the optional 195i kw if that makes a difference
i dont want to spent over the top but open to anything

For bolt on mods:

Make sure your plugs/leads/ignition coil/rotor button & Cap are in tip top shape
New fuel filter (most are overlooked at car service time and may not have been changed in years/ever)
Good set of headers/exhaust.
CAI (if it already doesn't have one)
Tune.
Corvette servo (auto)

Internal
Stroker bottom end
compression
cam
intake manifold/injectors etc
tune.
