I just recently had my VX SS aligned at a very good workshop on the latest equipment.
The specs on the sheet they printed out are below.
Caster Left: Min. 6.50 degrees - Max. 9.00 degrees.
Caster Right: Min. 6.50 degrees - Max. 9.00 degrees.

The print out actually uses a little '0' after the numerals, so I assume it is degrees,
although I know some alignment specs are in 'minutes' as well. But the numerals above are whats on the printout.

Caster figures should not affect tyre wear. I suggest you book it in 4 a wheel alignment, also what size tyres/rims are you running and what tyre pressure are you running as tyre wear on both outer edges can indicate under inflation.
