hey, i'm looking on selling my twin turbo soarer and getting a commodore as my next car, (hopefully a calais (Y)
just wondering if its worth shelling out the extra couple g's for the VT calais or would I be happy with the VS?
i knwo this hard to ask as noone here has met me and i'm new, but what are other peoples perceptions of the two? obviously the VT calais looks alot more modern but yeah
thought i'd ask some opinions
thanks guys
I may be a little bias butttt....
As you said, the VT does look more 'modern' ESPECIALLY the interior. Exterior is up to personal taste with the VS being more square-ish and the VT being roundish.
VT has dual zone climate control - I dont think the VS does?
VT's will most likely have fewer ks - just because theyre that little bit newer (not massive differences but still)
Also, if you're thinking about a VT, definately go for a series 2. Way better than series 1.
Nothing wrong with either model thoughyou'll be happy with either, but make sure you get a Calais - all class and no ass
(but that doesnt mean it wont get you any.. haha)
go for the series 2 and the v8
or a vx calais....,, everyones bias ,lol
VT are the start of the next series with a much improved shell, you get better ride handling and safety in this series car, and the features found in the high end VT's exceed those of the VS
vx calais ftw
