Questins before i get a vt

Hi just want to ask some questions before i get a vt with a few things wrong. 1 the fan stays on high all the time wont stop even when the key is out? any ideas on how to fix this im thinking it may be the relay but im not sure. 2 the front bumper needs replacing. How ahrd is it to replace the front bumper. getting this car cheap from my girlfriends mum and want to know how much i would have o spend ( if any ) to get it fixed up not including the bumper. thanks

The fan thing sounds like the relay is stuck on, try swapping with another relay before you buy it, but I don't know whether you mean the engine fan or the heater fan, either way it's probably the relay. The heater fan relay will be labelled "Blower".
The bumpers are easy to remove.

Does it have climate control? If it does there is a transistor on a heat sink that controls the fan speed and this transistor is shorted out hence the fan runs all of the time. You can buy the whole part from Holden and get ripped off or you can dismantle it and replace the transistor, just google the numbers on it. I got one from an electronics shop in Sydney at Ashfield on Sydney Road to fix a VR Statesman but can't remember their name though. On a VT I understand you get to this part by taking out the glovebox and there is a panel to unscrew on the top right of the opening left behind. If you want to stop the fan take out the fuse.

Yeah its the heater fan and it dosent have climate control.
