Thread: Mods, help.

    Default Mods, help.

    Okay, looking into finally getting my exhaust fitted, are extractors a waste of time on a 6 or what, if so Im just getting a 2.5" redback system from the catback, supplied and fitted for 250 from Ace exhausts.

    Also, if I go SSL's allround (yes struts and camber aswell..) will I still be at a legal height or not really ? also would this look weird with 16" vx s pack rims?

    Any other suggestions for the vt? (Got audio and rims planned already and I quite like the VT garnish)

    Edit** also does anyone know how to fix the damn shifter, the spring has popped out and wont go back down, so the buttons sitting about 5cm higher then it should... and my blinker isnt working all the time... it works when it feels like it, and freezes on the dash, would this be the ticker or the actual blinker unit itself? I'm going to book it into the auto lecky sometime soon probs after I get back from my holidays.

    extractors will give a little bit more go but mainly just makes the exhuast a bit deeper and better sounding

    Use this as a guide, not hard to do. First time it took me about an hour, now it takes me about 10 minutes to take off the whole center console and gear selector. And, if you want, while your at it you may as well get a chrome button, you can get them from holden for about $20.

    If the buttons popped out, it might just mean the pin holding it down has fallen out or the whole button is broken.
