VT Link nut bolt Installation

Hi, I have been having problems installing the front link nut bolts on my vt.
this is the 2nd time I have installed them and there's constant cluncking noise in the front end.
Does anyone here know how to install these correctly?

I have searched on google and couldnt find much.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Make sure the dished washers are the correct way around. The cup should face away from the rubber bushes, sort of opposite to the way you might expect them to go.

Hi,

I bought a cheap set of links off ebay ($22) and installed them correctly. The result were nylock washers that kept coming loose every 2 weeks or so and bushes that disintegrated after a few months from the constant retightening of the bushes.

The simplest fix was to buy a new set of Nolathane ones, haven't had an issue since, have never needed to retighten the nuts.

Caveat Emptor - you get what you pay for.
