Default Need help ASAP - VT Wagon

    Hey all, newbie here.

I bought a VT Commodore wagon about 4 months ago.

Its been ok, but 2 or 3 times over the 4 months its done this weird thing where the rpm will drop for half a second, and then pick back up again.
If im doing over 1500rpm its not quite enough for it to stall.
Once when i was driving around town and turned a corner doing maybe 10kmh, it happened as it changed into second gear, and stalled.

When it happens, the engine warning light flashes, and then the 'traction control off' light comes on permanently and will not disappear, even if i press the traction control button.
Turning the car off and back on again will remove the 'traction control off' light.

It feels like it either loses fuel for half a second, or else it loses spark, but im not sure which.

Today on the way home, it happened about 20 times over a 15 minute period.
I stopped twice to turn it off and back on again, but it still did it.
Im hoping it wont be as bad tomorrow.

Does anyone know what this issue is, and how to fix it?
    Thankyou.

Best bet would be to check the error codes....

Let us know what comes up. Im not exactly sure... but could be dirty air filter/fuel filter or fuel pump on the way out. If you (or previous owner) has been running ethanol fuel it will kill the fuel pump over time.

    Cheers

Took it to a Holden place, they checked the error codes, nothing major.

They had no idea what would be causing the issue.

CAS was replaced 5 years ago, fuel pump was replaced 7 years ago, fuel filter and air cleaner were replaced last service.

Only thing they could suggest was giving the throttle body a good clean out.

I might have to fix up some sort of temporary fuel pressure gauge and get it to fault and see what happens.

Dosen't sound like a fuel Problem, being that the trac light comes on i would check the sensers on the rear axel (might be loose or broken wire). sounds like the comp thinks your spinning ya wheels when ya not. Just a thought.........

Holden service centre checked out the sensors and wiring, they said its all ok. They told me the fault was the ABS/Trac module.

I replaced the ABS/Trac module, and i am still having the same problem!

    Help!
