so im driving down keilor melton highway yesterday on my way to work n im sitting at a red light....as im waiting all of a sudden my car just turns off!!!!! then wen i go to start it...it takes forever to start again...im worried that im gonna b driving on a freeway n this will happen to me.....somebody please help me!!!!

and another thing does anybody know where i can get HBD side skirts from??

Hey mate, After everything ive been through with mine, drop into an auto elec and have the DFI Modual tested. Mine did the same thing....

The list of possibilities is very long. The best place to start is by checking error(fault) codes. Do a search on how to read error codes, it's been covered many times.

Description of "turns off" is rather vague...do you still have electrics when the car is "off" or does your car shudders and stalls before it shuts off?

If it just dies(streight nothing) no splutter.. it be spark related.. Leads me to think ignition moduel(underneth coil-packs) ....

An intermitant problem?, you drove it home...? I had a similar problem in my Legnum VR4 - Passing 4 cars in 3rd, big rpm @ 140kph, then just silence, and ALL the warning lights on the dash are going - it was the crank angle sensor.
Maybe yours is on its way out? or wiring loose???
