    Default VT Problem Need help

Hi yer im new to this but ill try to describe my problem as best as possible.

Vt Commodore Wagon Executive Series 2

Driving along a dirt track and i bottomed out not to hard but hard enough to make a loud thud..

Car didnt seem to have any problems, later on it started making kinda a growling noise that can only be heard from inside the cabin .when it is low revs it makes the sound but as soon as i rev it to about 2500rpm it isnt as noticable.

I have Jacked it up and had a look underneath for and oviouse dings or damage and there is nothing visible..

exept that my exaust is the lowest point..
could it be the exaust touching the chasie or something to do with my exaust...
    any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

You'll hafta get right underneath and check right along the pipe, if it only touches a fraction anywhere, it will give a droning noise, when you rev the donk, the torque or twist could be pulling the pipe, where it's touching, of the body enough to stop the noise. I have had this happen to me once.
