VX drawing 3-4amps with ignition off

Hey guys, is my 1st post here and was after some advice if possible.
My girlfriends 6cyl VX has begun flattening its battery within a few hours of being parked.
After testing I found that (as in title) it is drawing 3-4amps with ignition off. Have ripped out almost every fuse and relay but has only made about half an amp difference. Am pretty sure her abs module is dying as strange dash light problems, indicators fail and steering suddenly getting heavy have occured over last month or so intermittently.

Does anyone know maybe what could be causing such a huge drain or at least point me in the right direction how to solve. Could the abs module be causing this or would it be something such as alternator?

alternator regulator.


unplug the plug on the back of the alternator. and watch the amps drop.

Have you checked that the interior, boot and glove box lights are turning off properly?

You nailed it wamboin23. Replaced alternator and all is good.
