VT Series 1 Shuts off

Hey im new to this forum, I just bought a 1998 VT 5.0l Berlina Wagon, A couple days ago i went around a round a bout and the car shut off just for a split second, all the dash lights lit up but the car only like just skipped a beat and was all good again. today it happened again same thing when i was turning.

Any ideas

gday mate, might be silly but check ur battery terminals and make sure they're not the original ones and all worn out. had something similar in my VS that i had!! hope this helps

Its funny you should say that. I put into the Mechs 2day. My battery terminal has one thick cable on the positive termial (say 6mm thick) going into a plastic connector that has the rest of the engine cables comming off it. the mechanics took apart the connector tightened the bunch of wiring and put it back into the connector and it works bloody fine now.
