    Radiator: $250- $300
    Thermostat and gasket: $20
    Coolant flush: $70- $100
Trans fluid top up if it's an auto: $10
    Labour: 1hr @ $80- $120

    Total: $520 - $550

If you DIY you will save 1hr labour charge and about $40 on the coolant flush as you will only need to buy coolant. Don't forget to bleed it properly afterwards

heaps easy just do it yourself, if youre buying a new radiator you probably won't need to flush it, so just put the new one in, fill up and go.

Could you please tell me where you got your parts? Is eBay worth buying from or are they all crappy?

Ebay radiator = crappy. You may get lucky and get a half decent one. But sure would suck to be in the middle of nowhere and have a weld blow.

I just got my parents VY V6 radiator changed today. NATRAD centre, $420 for new radiator, new thermostat and gasket, block completely flushed by machine, new coolant at about 45% mix, tranny oil topup and labour.

They sell their radiators at $245 if you want to do it yourself. Decent price and you know it will be built well.
