Default VT VX sway bar difference best one

i recently saw in that the sway bar and the sway bar links are diffrent between VT & VX

VX sway bar link has a small ball joint on the bottom
VT sway bar has rubber bushes on bottom

both have the same rubber bushes on the top commenting to the shock absorber

my question is is the VX sway bar better design than the VT ?

also what is the best bush kit to buy is it the nalothane heavy duty kit ( i think they are polyurethane) or the rubber ones like the factory ones?

I've had both types of sway bars and link pins and I much prefer the VX type, it is much easier to remove the link pins and change the bushes. I've only used the rubbers bushes so I can't comment on the other types.

The VX design is better, the VZ design with balls on both ends is better again. The ball design means the bushes don't get loaded up when the wheel turns, which leads to premature bush failure. VT's are renowned for spitting bushes out, whereas I'm yet to hear of any sway-link related problems on VZ's

You'd need VZ-style shock absorbers to take the sideways mounting link-pin, and a VX-VZ sway bar of course. Assuming all those bolt up (which I imagine they would) you should be fine. I've never tried it though, that's all hypothetical.
