how to remove the sway bar ( not the sway bar link) in a VT VX?
do i need to remove the cross member bar to take it out?
also will i vx sway bar fit a vt sway bar?
vx sway bar got 2 boll joints in the link
vt sway bar got all rubber bushes
I've never had to remove a stabiliser bar but according to my manual the crossmember needs to be removed.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
hey
thanx mate, you are right
ou have to drop the cross member bar (K frame) where the engine mounts are connected tooo so ***en big job...
pedders said they have a VZ style 2 ball joint sway bar link .... $180 for the pair
might look in to it next few days ey
ta
Yeah it is a big job, recommend getting a professional to do it because it all needs to get aligned properly when its reassembled, and a good shop will have the tools to do that.
Also remember that the VZ links will only fit VZ-style shocks, so if you plan to use the VZ links you'll have to change them too.
