    Default vt park lights

i had a look and could only find stuff on vr/v2 parkers. i bought a set of blue led parking lights for my vt, but i can't find where the hell the lights sit to take em out! i can only find the high beam, and the big main headlight

any ideas of the exact location of the parkers in the headlight cluster?

i know they will pull out, but i can't find where on the back of the headlight they are mounted?

do i need to pull the main headlight out first and then get in from there?

in the VP you take of the round black cover of the back of the headlight cover and there right next to the main headlight globe. just turn the parkers on at night get in behind the headlighr with all covours of and you should see a faint glow, this way you can locate the globe.

here, this might clear it up a bit. I took a pic of where the wire is located (green wire) the bulb is on the end of it, trickiest part is getting it back in the hole sometimes. The headlights were on as my phone camera doesnt have a flash lol.

How the indicator got pulled into a park light change I'd like to know lol. Check your manual for a detailed run through, I'll admit that's what I had to do 1st time haha.

mine are blue leds... $19.00. i love on the central coast, well my mechanic friend came over, and we found, as both of us have not small hands, that the easiest way was to pull the whole headlight out. the leds are in now. it took me like 2 and a half hours to get nowhere, but once he got here it was about 20 mins haha

    damn commodores lol
still. they're blue now, and it looks awesome!!

yeah i found that green and blue wire, but it was near impossible to pull the bloody thing out while the headlight was in it's normal position! maybe i'm just too clumsy haha

i'll up a pic tonight when it's dark.

haha yeah it wasnt the most accesible place to reach, and had to disconnect the battery and move it to do the drivers side, but for half hours work it does look awesome. shame is you can only put em on when ur cruising somewhere well lit that you know you wont bump into a cop. but they are ridiculously good-looking lol.
