dash clusters - tacho

i put LEDs in my dash cluster and now every time i disconnect my battery my odometer goes up 100,000 kms,

I can buy another level 3 cluster cheap but its only for a v6 and i have a 5lt v8..

I know the tacho will read wrong but how much would it be out by?

if you take it to holden they can tech 2 it and programe it for ur v8 mate but if u wanna sell the cluster for the v6 let me no
