a/c coming out demisters

Just wondering if anyone could diagnose the problem with my air conditioner.

When ever I accelerate or go up hills, seems like when the car need a bit more go, the air will instead of coming out of the face vents and maybe the feet vents aswell it will come out the demisters. After the hill it will kick back to being normal so it just really annoying.

the problem? cost of fixing it? will it be doing any damage leaving it?

I had the same problem in my VY my mechanic fixed it for free for me he said that commonly its just a hose that has come off from the back of the engine bay

I'm having this EXACT same problem with my '99 VT berlina. An exact cause and way to fix it would help me heaps

Here's a couple of threads that have showed up. Same problem, same solution.

Seems like the actuator needs replacing, $115 from holden. I havn't done anything about it yet
