VX front bumper swap

My mums put a dent in the front bumper of her VX commodore Sedan, and has asked me to fix it for her when the shop quoted $600 to fix it. Im just going to simply replace the bumper myself but, my question is are the front bumpers interchangeable between the different models? and if so which ones? i tried search the forum but couldn't find very much and i am not to familiar with holdens.

I believe all the executives and acclaims are the same. And the berlinas, and calias used the one piece front grilles.

hsv and calais will need different headlights but executive to ss are a strait swap

If you are going to the change the front bar, you better off going for the VX 'SS' or 'S' front bumper. The front bar looks better than the normal executive etc. as it sits lower and has slots for the fog lights (It's up to you if you want to install the fog lights). VT and VX are nearly identical. The only major differences between the VT and the VX front is basically the head lights and the front bar. You CANT put a VT front bar without changing the headlights also. The VX has the 'tear drop' head lights.

OPTIONS:
- VX SS or S Front bar (Head lights not required)
- VX Calais (Need head lights)
- VX standard bar (No headlights required)
- VT models (Head lights required + Monaro fits)
- After market front bar. They usually make em to fit any models, from VT - VE (No head lights required) But personally I'd stick with originals

I recommend SS/s front bar. You can pick em from the wreckers for less than $100 or brand new for roughly $150 or less + Paint $150 - $400 (Depends if you know people).
