Vt slight misfire at low revs / slugish when hot

Hi,
My vt series II has a slight misfire, which is noticeable at idle, also the car has a shudder and loss of power when accelerating, this gets worse when the car gets hot ie 10/15 mins. These problems are not so noticeable when the car is cold.

Ive had replaced recently;
Plugs, Leads, Fuel Filter, Engine Mounts


Also ive cleaned the throttle Body. an attempted to clean the plenum chamber haha. But this hasn't made to much difference.

Coil packs are probably on their way out.

cheers mate, where bouts are the coil packs? how do i test?

Start from your spark plugs, follow the leads back and you'll finish to a block thats has 3 circular poles marked 1 to 6 for a V6, or 4 poles marked 1 to 8 for a V8. That would be your coil pack. As far as testing goes, it won't be easy doing at home unless you have the right gear. Best to get it checked at a mechanics or just drop in a new coil pack.
