Default '99 VT Sedan Equipe - What's this wire?

So I hit a Wallaby (the non-rugby union kind) a while back, and though everything looked alright I've just noticed this wire hanging down at the front of the car (front right if you are facing the car) and for the life of me I can't see where it's supposed to go or what it does. I haven't noticed any performance issues or problems (though the air conditioning isn't cold anymore but I think it just needs regassing) Anybody have any ideas?

I've attached pictures to hopefully help.

    Thanks,
    Dan

Looking at my wiring diagram , the violet and white wires are for fog lights

    Foggies for sure.

Wheres it run to? Is there a wire on the other side

Although from the position in the pic it does look like the oxy temp sensor plug.
Is there a wire connected to the back of the airbox
