brown/yellow auto fluid?????????

i just changed auto fluid and filter to find it was pretty filthy , it wasnt red but more of a brown/yellow colour. is that just really really old fluid or is it something drastic.

I would say its just very very old mate. So long as it has no massive chunks of metal in the pan or water in it. i would say it would be ok.

sweet sweet, na there was no metal thank god, it all looked clean but was just the wrong colour. sort of fixed the auto prob thou i think, was improving on the way home anyway. might give it a flush still, just for safty sake, get all of that funky oil out.
you don't know which pipe to disconnect to flush it by any chance do ya?

This is what the Manual Says when flushing the system after installing or rebuilding the transmission, I assume its the same process the flush it. Hope it helps
