air con problem

was driving along the other day had the air con on and then all of a sudden it went hot and wont blow any cold air just hot. just wondering wat it could be

If this does it always on hot days were it goes off then that means there is moisture
in the system and you got to get it evacuated. And change the reciver dryer
and if the air-con does not turn on any more could be low on gas.
Check the fuses and relay first.

perhaps a fuse or relay? Check to see if the compressor is running when you switch the aircon on

I have a 2004 v8 crewman and cant get the idler pulley bearing off. Its one of the two for the air conditioning belt the one at the top with the torx bolt. Was wondering if anybody out there knew if its a left or right hand thread as I dont have a service manual handy

very very common problem with commos is the compressor seals!! they shat themselves all the time. if its not a fuse/relay then ide be checking the comp.
