    Question VT Throttle body

I know there's been squillions of questions regarding throttle body cleaning and removal, but i just bought a gregories repair manual for my VT and according to that to clean the throttle body out it doesnt have to be removed, only the intake pipng leading into it must be removed? everyone ive spoken too has explained that it has to be removed....

Would i be able to give it a better clean with it removed or am i gonna be ok cleaning her out while still attatched to the plenum?

    Any answers/help would be great

    Cheers

Its Very easy Mate. Its a Similar process to this. Even though its a VR
    CleaningThrottle Body VR V6

Basically, Pull of the Air intake tube, disconnect 2 electric cables on the throttle body, remove your throttle cable(s) Pull off i think 3 air hoses, then 2 bolts that hold it on. Dont clean it while its still on, wont work as you cant clean the other side of it.

No Worries Mate, Dont worry about your hoses, They are all a different size. and wont reach to a different fitting anyway. Just be sure to connect your sensors before starting the car back up
