Paint choice? :/

i have a 99 vt, that is gun metal grey? and i wat to paint the dash "insert?" and re trim the doors, but i cant work out what colour would go good with it.. iv been thinking red, but doesnt seem to go good with grey, heres a picture of the car.

yea, i think a light silver wouldnt look to bad, anyway to get it chromed?

yep, you can buy that dodgy VHT chrome plate finish. Thing is it needs a clear coat or something as it goes dull over time as you touch it

if its the same coulor as mine
the coulor is tundra pearl metal flak

I'd Personly go for the wow factor of something unique for the dash. Painting it with a gloss finish is alright but i'd be saving and going for something like this

HEY, what's that VHT chrome paint like? I take it it's pretty well the same quality as all the other "chrome" spray paint? Or is it really a good looking "chrome"

Woops sorry, its not really that good. Best way to describe it is like the dull side of aluminuim foil. Its shiny but not chrome shiny. More of a shiny silver than chrome.

Aaaaah k, well it sounds like they'll never make a "chrome" paint that is even nearly as good as the real thing!
