Power Window Buttons Light
hey.. my Commodore VX power windows buttons lights are not working anymore.. and i was trying to open that buttons after removing it from the car. but its not opening can anyone tell me is it open able?

you should be able to, coz heaps of people replace the bulbs with blue, red... ect LED's

it is possible to get to the LED's for these switches. basically just remove the switch assembly from the center console, and theres about 4 (from memory) clicks holding the bottom part to the top part. pry them apart carefully with a small flat blade screw driver.
the LED's them selves, assuming thats what the problem is, are easy to replace. two solder joints is all thats holding them on... a normal LED from dick smiths will do. provided you get a similar voltage rated one.
from memory those are the solder joints needed to remove the LED's.
