Default VX II Power Window Problem

Hey guys i had a quick search and couldnt find what i was after. In my mums VX II Berlina, the drivers side rear power window is playing up, it goes down but wont go up so the window is stuck at a quarter open. What could be causing the problem and how would it be fixed?
    Cheers,
    Shannon

Does it happen with the main switch and the rear door switch?

i had the same problem and turned out to be my loom. had me a bit screwed as I took apart the switches and cleaned the contacts etc (which probably will help in the longrun anyway).
Putting in my new looms in a couple of weeks.

There's a good chance you have a broken wire in the rubber boot.

Thanks for all you suggestions guys. Took it to my mechanic and it turned out to be a broken wire in the rubber boot. Just as you guys said. Thanks for all of your advice

    Cheers
