Vt commodore problem

Gday guys and happy Australia day
I have a problem with my vt when the car is under extensive heat the car dies and after a few minutes the car will start again and im not too sure what the problem is my best guess is the crank angle sensor but anyother help would be appreciated thanks josh

i'd be checking your fault codes, is your engine light on (on the dash) when you start the car???

Checking error codes VT/VX

sounds like a CAS, common problem on the V6 commodores, but could be a number of things like coil pack module or fuel pump. good luck
