Ok, I reset codes....The problem code now is 35.......Is there any particular part that I need to change to fix the problem I have?

Problem - Rough Idle on start up, cannot put accelerator down quickly cause it backfires (I think through the air filter). Car will not drive because of the previously stated problem. Looks like car is taking in too much air and not enough fuel.....Could it be the fuel pump? I changed the fuel filter but didn't make a difference. Cahnge the sparks/leads/coils...didn;t make a difference...

help is needed please, pretty please with cherries on top!

Your IAC Is faulty or clogged up with carbon by the sounds of it, COde 35 is your IAC (Idle Air Control), and would explain the unstable idle you have. You can try cleaning it, its just on the top of the throttle body, Use this as a guide to help remove the throttle body and clean both, its from a VR, but process is similar.
    CleaningThrottle Body VR V6

If it still has issue, i would replace the IAC, they are about $99.

thanks edals. Anything is worth a try......I juast got a message from Dr Bob and he reckons the fuel pump might have crapped itself, which would also explain a lot of things....I might give the IAC a clean up first, and of course if this fails get the fuel pump replaced......thanks again. cheers
