Default VT Calais - Replaced DFI & Now When Turning Over Made A Bang & Burning Smell

As the title states, swapped over my DFI module and coil packs this morning and when I went to restart the car it made a weird loud banging noise and then had this nasty burning smell coming from it afterwards.

Any ideas what it could be?

Just a thought. Also, was everything put back in it's proper place. And more importantly, were the spark plug leads put back in sequence? Not suggesting you're an idiot or anything, mistakes happen is all.

Nope doesn't turn over but I'm not sure if that's because the battery didn't have enough juice but I've put it on a charger.

The bang sounded like it came from the engine as it was trying to turn over. That's about all I can tell.

Yeah I tagged my leads before I disconnected them so I knew what went where. Not sure if I put the plug on the side (the long one with electrical cables) in the right way up though so I'll have to double check that.
