VU Side mirror loose

Hey all

i've been seaching around for a while now but to no avail, the left mirror on my vu doesnt seem to have the impact spring attached (i realise its prob not called that), the previous owner has put a screw through the bottom of the housing to hold the mirror in place but i'd like to have a go at fixing it so any info or diagrams of the mirrors assembly would be greatly apreiciated.

Hi I have a VE Omiga which has a loose passenger side glass in the mirror and will attempt to fix tommorrow. I think the go is to adjust mirror to inner uppermost position then insert a flat screw driver to disengage the retaining clips fit new spring then re assemble. I could be wrong though will tell you how I go or if anybody else reading this knows then you can put us both on the right track.
