Auto Shift Up from 1st to 2nd problems

Hey i recently had my Series 2 VT Cubsport in for its 110k service which included a trans service. After getting my car back it no longer shifts into 2nd gear automatically when you have the shifter in 1st. It still drives normal if i have it in 3rd or D. Not to sure if anyone is familiar with it but before the service i could pull up at a set of lights drop the shifter down to 1st and put my foot down and it would shift to 2nd without me touching the stick. It would only do it between 1st and 2nd, to go up to 3rd or D i would have to shift up myself. The place that serviced it said all they do in the service is change the filter and oil and the auto shift from 1st the 2nd is computer controlled (which is obvious). Has anyone else ever heard of this happening??

When you put it in 1st it will only use 1st, When you put it in 2nd it will use 1st and 2nd, when you put it in 3rd it will use 1st, 2nd, 3rd, when you put it in D, it uses all 4.

I'm pretty sure the computer overrides the shifter if the engine hits the redline and makes it shift to 2nd from 1st to stop it banging the engine.

Mine, my brothers, my step dads and at least 4 mates all have or have had VT,VX,VU Ute etc with LS1 engines and all of them automatically shifted into second while the stick was still in first. Mine had always done it until i got it serviced. My step dads SS ute did it until he got a shift kit and my brothers vx ss still does it. Its computer controlled and ive hit the rev limiter in 1st and it still wont shift until i move the stick up.
