Answer is no. Once they're programmed that's it.

At work i have done a lot of key faults for commodore's.
I am not 100% sure because i have never tried it.
But if both the cars are the same and you want to use one key on the other car you have to take the BCM out of the car that the key works with and install it to the car you want the key to work with.

I got a brand new 3 butten key pad for only $30 from ebay and another $20 for holden to program it.
