vz ute tail lights into vu ute

was wondering if anyone new what is required to fit the stock vz ute tail lights into a vu? ive heard that there is wiring modifications that are needed to be done? does anyone know or has anyone done this themselves? ive searched but cant find anything for utes

would look great on a vu.....but not if its red....just doesnt match, would look awesome on a blue one :P

but i wouldnt think theyéd be different wiring, maybe a different plug , don't quote me but yeah dont see why holden would change that from model to model except for when a completely different light is installed

i have vy's if you get the loom for the VZ lights it should plug right into the VU loom, the only thing different is the actual globe holders, VU to VZ does not fit without modification.

what do u mean by modification lol? as in buy the new globe holders or?

i mean like you have to file/cut a bit of plastic off the light fitting base to fit the old loom into the new light,
i would just get a set of new ones if you can
