fitting tear drop vx headlights into VT exec

hi, just wondering if anyone has some knowledge on putting vx headlights onto a stock 98 vt exec. got a vx ss front bar, and wanted to know,

1. if i need to do any mods to put vx headlights onto a vt?

2. if i need to change any wiring etc etc.

any knowledge would be really helpful guys.

You will need to change the Front Bumper to make way for the tear drops in the head light. the wiring should be the same

if you have the vx front spoiler/bar is a straight swap over, i have done it on my current vt

pretty easy really, you might need to get some of the plastic clips that hold the bar on as they tend to be use once and throw away , as in they break, thats about it, wirings identical, & you will find if u got a vx ss bar, the wiring for the driving lights is already sitting there for you, both under the front & in the dash

1 - 2 hour job at most

Yeh mate its a straight swap over i did it on my Berlina, the bar and lights go straight in, unfortunately my Berlina doesnt have the loom for the foggies so will need to get them wired up professionally

will the globes from my vt headlights work for the nx lights too? as i have like $300 globes and really dont want to get rid of them lol.

Yeh mate they will go straight in, both models use H4 globes so they are a straight swap over, i guess you have those phillips crystal/diamond vision globes in there right?

wicked, i have diamond vision h4, high beams and parkers. they're pretty nice

yeah i have 5000k too theyre really good, just need to change my gay parkers now lol.
