hi, has anyone changed the lower intake manifold gasket on a l67? if so where'd ya get the gasket from and how much was it????? ..............or if anyone knows a good company that sell's gaskets that i could try? (repco/global dont stock them)
i just rang holden and were told its over $200 for 1. is that right or what? im positive when i rang a week or two ago that i were told $30approx for each side and $12 each for the ends, but just rang two different holdens and they both said there over $200.
Whatever you do, do not buy the stock GM replacement LIM gaskets. Buy some alloy ones from either Yella Terra, BYE, ZZP or Intense Racing. These alloy ones are re usable and will last for ever compared to the stockers that will give up every 5-8 years or so.

If your looking for gaskets, can't go past Fel-Pro. They last forever in my experience. Be prepared to pay quite a bit extra though. And they're difficult to find in Australia, but they definatly go the distance. I have a set in my L67 now.
$195 for 10psi pully kit and alloy LIM gasket delivered to my door. works out cheaper than just a crappy LIM gasket from holden![]()
yeah true about buying local, im usually all for it but when its that much cheaper its pretty hard not to. if i were to buy them both here would be $210 for gasket and $295 +postage for the pully kit.
sort of works out pretty good getting it overseas. plus im a tight ass![]()
