My best advice, if you don't want to go through the rig-marole of removing the entire door trim, is go to bunnings and invest in a $4 pack of right-angled screwdrivers, you'll need phillips heads. That was the only way I could change my mirrors without taking the trim off but it worked with a little patience and flexible fingers. Aside from that there isn't anything particularly tricky about it, one plug a few screws and you're away.
