    Default Vt glovebox boot release problem?

    [SIZE="4"]Hey just wondering if anyone can help? I have 2000 VT Sedan, The button in my glovebox for boot release is no longer working, but the remote button on my key dose. Was working fine last time i used it, any help would be much appreciated!!! [SIZE="4"]

    uh just a stab in the dark but your button is broken get a multimeter or testlight and check it and your circuit

    Ok sweet thanx mate! thought it mite be something simple, I'll hav to take it to auto elec when i get a chance

    If the remote keyhead still opens your boot, then at least it's not the boot solenoid. Either the switch itself as said above, or the wiring plugs at the back of the switch have worked loose or something. I wouldn't think it's a blown fuse because the solenoid still works.

    I have a very similar problems. The boot release switch in my glovebox works sometimes when it feels like it. I'm assuming I have a loose wire? How hard is it to remove the switch and check it out ?

    If anyone has similar probs and need immidate access to your boot there is a yellow handled manual pull cable behind the rear centre pull down seat.
